AXamples

"AXamples" recordings below are examples of what I play when I am exploring a preset on my effects unit (Axe FXIII - Axe + Examples = AXamples). Each piece here is based on one preset from the Axe FXIII, either a factory, purchased or self made preset. These are not "completed works" but rather explorations and have plenty of mistakes but can give you a unfiltered representation of what these presets can sound like straight out of the gate as I am adjusting nothing. These are all played on a PRS McCarty 594 Hollowbody II with 58/15 LT TCI'd pickups. Three way switch is in middle, no splits on the coils, all controls (v and t) on 7. Into the Axe, out to the DAW, blend of L/R and the DI is what you are hearing, no post production other than a touch of mastering of the stereo output of the track. This is similar to my "Daily Growl" series, but based on specific presets that explore guitar tones I do not play in my day to day stuff. Just guitar ramblings inspired by new/different sounds! Let me know what you think and I hope you can find something you enjoy! Mistakes (yes, they do exist) are all my fault ;~))
